- Description
- Digitized pages from the Talairach atlas are displayed on the left.
- Coronal, transaxial and sagittal slices from a reference T1-weighted MRI volume in Talairach
space on the right.
- The current location is denoted by a red mark in all images and
is listed in volume and in various Talairach coordinates to the lower-right of the atlas
pages. The closest named Talairach structure (and distance from the current location) is
listed in green.
- For the volume slices,
red 'L' and 'R' letters indicate left/right orientation on coronal and transaxial slices,
and red axes in the lower left corner indicate the origin and direction of the x, y and z axes.
- Navigation and display controls are in the lower left corner./li>
- Navigation
- The current location may be changed using mouse clicks in the atlas or any volume slice.
- The current location may be specified using any of four (4) methods using the
Coordinate input boxes ("Type" and "x y z"). The methods supported are:
- "MNI tal" - millimetric Talairach location in the MNI Talairach space
- "Tal mm" - millimetric Talariach location
- "Tal grid" - Talairach grid notation
- "Volume" - voxel location within the MRI volume
The x, y and z coordinates are space separated.
- Atlas Display Options
- "Page" - which pages are displayed, axial, coronal, sagittal (both left and right) or
all pages
- "Show marks" - display location of named structures in original Talairach atlas (with
green dots)
- "LUT center" - center of intensity Look Up Table (LUT) ramp for atlas pages, increasing makes image brighter
- "LUT width" - width of LUT ramp for atlas pages, decreasing adds contrast
- Volume Display Options
- "Show grid" - display Taliarach grid
- "Show labels" - display sub-grid and grid labels
- "LUT center" - center of intensity Look Up Table (LUT) ramp for volume slices, increasing makes image brighter
- "LUT width" - width of LUT ramp for volume slices, decreasing adds contrast
